Lebanese Mezze or Appetizers

Tabbouleh – salad traditionally made of bulgur, fi nely chopped parsley and mint, tomato and spring onion, seasoned with lemon juice and olive oil.

Fattoush – salad made from toasted or fried pieces of pita bread combined with mixed greens and other vegetable.

Hummus – dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic.

Baba Ghannouj – Lebanese dish of baked or broiled aubergine (eggplant) mashed and mixed with various seasonings.

Kibbeh Balls – is the national dish of Lebanon in its simplest form of oval shaped nuggets made with a mix of ground beef, bulgur, stuff ed with meat, onions, pine nuts and can be made grilled, boiled or fried.

Labneh & Garlic – Creamy Yogurt mixed with garlic onions, dried mint and special Middle Eastern spices.

Mouhamara – Armenian special spicy dip.

Kibbeh in tray – a mixture of spiced meat, onion, bulgur wheat ground together and made in a round tray to be called kibbi bi saniyeh served in wedges.

Shishbarak – thin wheat dough stuff ed with ground beef, pine nuts, onions and spices cooked in yogurt and served hot in this sauce with rice.

Kibbeh Labnieh – kibbeh balls stuffed with ground beef, pine nuts, onions and spices cooked in yogurt and served hot in this sauce with rice.

Mujaddara – consists of cooked lentils together with groats, wheat or rice, garnished with roasted onions that have been sautéed in vegetable oil.
